I have created this secret-but-not-so-secret page with all my wedding information!
So, I won’t lie to you… I composed this email that I used to send my wedding couples that held all this information and I just felt like many people would skip over it.
Over the course of the year and booking multiple weddings, I felt like I was jumping from site to site to deliver information to you, communicate with you, and continue keeping everything afloat. And I felt like that was becoming overly-difficult.

Some things you should know…
I have over four years of experience in photography. I started in the beginning of 2020 when Covid hit, I was getting bored in my apartment and picked up my camera and truly started romanticizing my life through photos - and we have grown so much since then! I have over 200 sessions under my belt, 20 weddings, and a lifetime of memories!
I am the only creator for Madie G. Photography, and if there were to be any changes in the future, you would know firsthand. The biggest blessing I have in this industry, is being able to constantly learn! I have amazing friends who mentor me, help me, and guide me to be successful in my business! A business owner, who strives to be successful, cannot do it alone!
I focus on engagements/weddings and seniors! While I love documenting every season of life, this is what fills my calendar the most! So, in the future - if you ever have a crazy idea - PLEASE TELL ME! I am always down to document your life :)
My turnaround time for a finished edited wedding gallery is 6-8 weeks. I do work my tail off to provide you with the highest quality + seamless photos! Please know that I take pride in my work and am diligently working behind the scenes to make sure your photos are PERFECT!
While I never want to think of emergencies, they can happen. I am huge on communication - and even though we cannot reschedule the event (like your wedding/elopement), I have a list of photographers who I know would step up to the plate and provide you with an amazing experience! These photographers are some of the hardest working people I know! And if I trust them, you should too!
To ensure the safety of your photos, I back them up on a hard drive, set the SD card aside until your session is delivered and waiting for you in your email. Normally, I will keep your edited photos on my hard drive for roughly 6 months before moving on! I strongly suggest to download your photos as soon as you receive them! Make a date night out of it!! Grab your fav beverage, snuggle up on your couch and scroll through your gallery with your loved ones!
Wedding FAQ’s
When Should I Book My Engagement Photos?
Your head must be spinning with all these ideas and you may not know how to put your feelings into words yet. You’ve already booked your photographer (AKA ME BABY), so I am going to assume you’ve also booked your venue! Start talking to your small vendors (aka your hairstylists + caterers and decorators!) to get a better feel of what will work best for your wild vision!
I recommend you to book with me as earliest as you can! Typically Save-the-Dates go out within 7-9 months before your wedding date. Formal Invitations roughly 2-4 months before your wedding date.
My calendar fills up fast and time seriously flies! I only take on 1-2 weddings per month! I do not work on the weekends unless it is a wedding booked! Peak busy season for me, is through the months of June-October.
If your ideal timeframe is within these months, I strongly suggest reaching out to me 6-8 weeks in advance to secure a date!
How Much Wedding Photo Coverage Do I Need?
Let me rephrase this question that I am asked all the time, no harm in that! I am not here to stretch your budget, based off my website, I hope you’ve gathered a rough estimate of what you could be investing. If you are debating between two packages, I will always tell you - the more I am booked, the more photos and raw moments I will be able to capture and return. While thinking about your coverage, what are 5 key components throughout your wedding day that you could not live without?
It could be your mom doing your final touches with your makeup, first looks with your partner and family members, or a raging reception! Whatever the case, narrow it down to 5 priorities and we can base the amount of coverage you are searching for from there.
What Do We Wear For Our Engagement Sessions?

When Will We Meet?
So - we’re in the process of meeting for our consultation call - here we will talk about your initial thoughts on your wedding coverage needs, get to know each other and your love story, and talk about your wedding planning up to this point! We’d of course meet in person for your engagements and maybe even a boudoir photoshoot?! Minus our constant communication via email leading up to your wedding, our next official visit would be a month before your wedding - we’d meet over coffee or FaceTime to finalize your timeline, those top 5 moments of your day, and chat about how you’re feeling and any other important details we should know! Finally, it’s your wedding day!
We don’t want to do XYZ during our day, how do we politely tell our guests?
Let’s say, you’re envisioning an adult-only wedding day - you can say something along the lines of… “We kindly ask that this is an adult-only night. While we love all the children in our lives so dearly, we hope everyone can enjoy the night to its fullest.”
OR if you are envisioning only inviting a certain amount of people to your wedding - whether that be a distant friend, relative, or someone you just don’t want around, you can say something along the lines of, “While we would love to have everyone celebrate with us, our budget simply won’t allow it.”
How Will We Receive Our Wedding Photos?
I will send you two different forms of your final gallery! An online-gallery will be sent via email - I use this website called Pixieset where you can download/order/print your gallery! I will also be sending you a customized USB drive with your entire gallery on it!
